What you can open in QlikShift depends on your membership in a department and your role for that department.
Student workspace
Student employees access the client app to submit availability for upcoming terms or breaks, review deadlines, and manage profile for the department you selected. Administrators assign shifts later using submitted availability. The student-focused articles in this help center describe that experience; administrators should also read Admin workspace.
Department administrators
If your role for a department is ADMIN, choosing that department opens the admin workspace in a separate web application (your browser navigates to that URL). Capabilities and navigation are summarized in Admin workspace.
No departments listed
If you have no department memberships, you cannot use scheduling features until an administrator adds you. Use the contact path your organization provides (often the same team that manages library, student employment, or HR systems).
